Meet Tiffany
Tiffany Krumins made history on the inaugural episode of Shark Tank, securing an investment for her invention, Ava the Elephant. Inspired by a sweet-natured boy with Down syndrome who struggled to take medication, Tiffany, his caregiver at the time, ingeniously pieced together fabric, sponges, and a plastic medicine dropper, embedding a recordable sound chip from a greeting card. That simple yet life-changing idea grew into one of Shark Tank’s most beloved success stories.
Seven years into her entrepreneurial journey, Ava the Elephant was acquired. Along the way, Tiffany faced a life-changing challenge: a cancer diagnosis shortly after her Shark Tank appearance. Her battle and recovery fueled the creation of Opu Probiotics, a mission-driven brand manufactured in her home state of Georgia.
