Meet Tiffany
Tiffany Krumins made history on the very first episode of Shark Tank, securing an investment for her invention, Ava the Elephant. Inspired by a sweet-natured boy with Down syndrome who struggled to take medication, Tiffany, his caregiver at the time, improvised with fabric, sponges, a plastic dropper, and a recordable greeting-card chip. That simple idea became one of Shark Tank’s most beloved success stories.
Seven years later, Ava the Elephant was acquired. Along the way, Tiffany faced a life-altering challenge: a cancer diagnosis shortly after her Shark Tank debut. Her battle and recovery sparked her next venture, Opu Probiotics, a mission-driven brand proudly manufactured in her home state of Georgia.
Tiffany’s journey has been featured by Dr. Oz, Fox Business, Entrepreneur, Forbes, and The Today Show. The Huffington Post even called her a “modern-day Mary Poppins.” From nanny to inventor to entrepreneur, her path has been defined by creativity, resilience, and a passion for making a meaningful impact.
