This is one of my favorite organizations! Operation Christmas Child delivers special packages each Christmas to children who have absolutely nothing. I love to “follow” my box and meet the angel it was given to! It is a wonderful lesson for children to see firsthand how blessed they really are!
NATIONAL DOWN SYNDROME CONGRESS!
Prior to founding my company, I spent many years working with a little boy who still ’til this day has my heart! Meeting Gibby, who has Down syndrome, changed my perspective on life! My hope is that these children will no longer be aborted, due to lack of information, or out of fear, but be allowed to live the full lives they were meant to live! SECOND WIND RETREAT!
When diagnosed with cancer you face a long road of surgery, treatments and recovery! Sometimes you just need a break from it all! Marti Nunn knew this all too well, as she is a cancer survivor. She decided to found this life-changing charity to help other survivors get their “second wind”! The time my family and I spent at Second Wind was just what we needed!
DREAM STREET FOUNDATION & CAMP!
This year I had the honor of visiting a magical place called camp Dream Street! Imagine all the things you dreamed of doing as a child. Dream Street is being able to do every single one of them for a full week! For the children attending camp, who are all fighting life-threatening illnesses, it is heaven on earth!
